P.E. (Physical Education)

The Holy Cross PE program consists of structured classes that emphasize attitude, effort, and establishing healthy habits.  Students learn about proper equipment usage, good sportsmanship, and official rules. After covering the basics, classes move on to study a variety of sports and games.

  • Golf
  • Basketball
  • Badmitton
  • Football
  • Pickleball
  • Volleyball

Holy Cross Physical Education students in grades 1 – 6 participate each year in the President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports.  Students participate in five athletic events and are rewarded for achieving age level goals.  Classes are instructed on the events and given time to practice them before performing each event and being compared to the national average. Students that perform in the 85th percentile receive the Presidential Award, and those in the 50th percentile receive the National Physical Fitness Award.

Auburn may have won the National Championship, but Alabama won the Holy Cross Iron Bowl.
