Spanish

Spanish at Holy Cross is muy divertido (very fun)!!!  

• Pre-K through 3^rd Grade– 3 times per week for 30 minutes
• 4^th through 6^th Grade– 4 times per week for 30 minutes

   

The Spanish curriculum consists of la cultura Española (Spanish Culture), conversación y vocabulario español (Spanish conversation and vocabulary), juegos (games), cantando y bailando (dancing and singing),  proyectos de la diversión (fun projects), artesanías (crafts), actuando en español (acting in Spanish), la lectura y la escritura en español (reading and writing in Spanish), and don’t forget la gramática Española (Spanish grammar) for the older kids, and a year-end celebration trip to Jalapenos Mexican Restaurant to practice ordering in Spanish for the 6^th grade class!!
